Orientale in full flower, Tulips, Crocus, Rockery Narcissus for
sale in pots, Hamammelis in full flower; perfume from Sarcococca. |
MARCH. Potted Roses; Bulbs, Alpines, all showing new
growth. Large consignments of usual and unusual herbaceous
start to arrive. Acers potted up ready for summer sale.
Ladybird and Frog Hunt for children begins. |

APRIL.
Camassias and Erythroniums peeping through in pots, Allium sales
increase, Fritillarias and Candelabra Primulas. More Alpines in
stock. |
MAY. Hostas
and Hemerocallis for sale, Acers coming into leaf – especially our
famous Acer Palmatum Shishio. Garden buzzing with plant hunters.
Climbing Roses for sale. |

JUNE. Acer
bed a true picture! Camassias in borders, Yakushimanum Rhodos,
deciduous Azaleas. Shrubs in pots (in alphabetical order) looking
good. Hanging baskets and tubs. |
JULY. Clematis
in flower over pergola, Warm Welcome Rose. Still time to buy
unusual Shrub Roses. Herbaceous sales still high. |

AUGUST. Tropeolum
Speciosum in full glory (plants for sale). Clematis vit.Polish
Spirit in abundant bloom. New seasons bulbs arrive in time for
August bank holiday. |

SEPTEMBER.
Lilacs, Pittosporums, Viburnums for sale. Dwarf Conifers
a speciality, Grafted Pines in numerous varieties. Bulbs
for sale. |

OCTOBER. Late
flowering herbaceous, new season’s Roses potted on site ready for
sale. |
|
|
NOVEMBER. Fruit Trees and Bushes arrive – hardy varieties
chosen to suite north-east conditions. Ornamental Trees potted
and put out for sale. |

DECEMBER. Thoughts
and energy turn to fresh and natural Christmas Decorations – Holly
balls, Wreaths, Candles and Topiary. CLOSED for a 2 week break. |
